Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.
— Thomas Merton

I had the privilege of studying fine arts and graphic design at Cleveland State University, Kent State University and Lakeland Community College. I am versatile in most mediums: graphite, pencils, ink, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and oils, with a concentrated interest in portraiture, landscape, nature, and conceptual drawings. My artistry reflects a positive and inspired spirit, with inspiration coming from my faith, the beauty of this earth, and all that lives.

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio on 61st and St. Clair and lived there into my early twenties. Growing up in the inner city was tough but a huge blessing at the same time. My sister and I were culturally rich at such a young age with our Slovenian heritage, and we were exposed to all of the many different aspects of Art offered by our beautiful city such as: the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Theatre District (Playhouse Square and the State Theatre), just to name a few. Living five minutes from Downtown was awesome! The Flats was our backyard and when it came time for the Air Show, we only needed to climb the nearest roof to get a bird's eye view of the Blue Angels soaring by.

Currently, my Husband and I live with our two children ten minutes from Downtown, Cleveland. As our children have grown older, the window of opportunity has opened wide. I have been able to return to my artwork and concentrate on building my passion for fine art. It was with such a culturally rich background that brought art into my world and it is the beautiful life that I have been blessed with that continues to inspires me to create.

Thank you for your support and interest.
